Editorial Review:

Product Description:
A hit man attends his 10-year high school reunion with hopes of rekindling a romance, but things heat up when his arch rival appears.

Rating: R
Release Date: 8-APR-2003
Media Type: DVD

Amazon.com:
Hit man Martin Q. Blank (John Cusack) is in an awkward situation. Several of them, actually. He's attending his high school reunion on an assignment; he's got a rival hit man (Dan Aykroyd) on his tail; and he's going to have to explain to his old girlfriend (Minnie Driver) why he stood her up on prom night. This amiable black comedy, cowritten by Cusack and directed by Jonathan Demme protégé George Armitage (Miami Blues), has the feel of Demme's Something Wild and Married to the Mob--which is to say its humor is dark and brightly colored at the same time. Cusack and Driver are utterly charming--as is the leading man's sister, Joan, who plays his secretary. (Ms. Cusack received an Oscar nomination for her next role, in In & Out.) Alan Arkin is also very funny as Martin's psychiatrist. --Jim Emerson

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Horrible Movie
This movie is horrible. Most of the material in the movie is irrelavent. Most of the parts that are supposed to be funny, aren't. Frankly, it's a boring movie. Whoever wrote the script either had a boring personality or an odd sense of humor.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Comedy!
John Cusack is great! I love this movie, great comedy. Sound track is great too.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of my favorites!
This movie is one of my favorites. I love the characters and plot line. The music is great and the feel of the whole atmosphere is great. This is a fun movie to watch with friends and just hang out.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Hitmen With A Soft side
Another great movie with John Cusack in it. It's a romantic comedy of a guy who is a hitman, and ends up back in the town he went to highschool. There he finds his ex-girlfriend played by Minnie Driver. There is also the highschool reunion on and he has to find time to see his ex as well as do a hit. Great comedy and great music, this should be in any dvd collection. Witty dialouge with a small giggle here and there. Something to watch when there is nothing on Tv.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Grosse Pointe Blank...
Mr. Cusack takes us for a wild ride in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The man is simply trying to attend his High School reunion. But, he has a few issues to deal with while he's there...I'll let you find out for yourself! Get it at a good price - then enjoy it! Three stars!!
