I can't believe there are actually people who liked this nightmare of a movie! Super Mario Bros The Movie is hailed by all gamers as the prime example of just how bad a movie adaption of a popular video game can be!
Many make the excuse that the only reason why no one likes this movie is because it was made for kids. How exactly does that make sense??? Oh my gosh. This movie is brilliant! I dunno why so many people hate it, but I thought it was great! Imagine the Mushroom Kingdom, only... modernised quite a bit. 1990's-style. Now, imagine Bo-Bombs being wind-ups of doom and destruction to any who dare wind it up. Imagine Toad being a rock-star, Goombas being body-guards for Koopa, and Koopa being an evil president-guy evolved from a dinosaur, plus Yoshi being a baby dinosaur instead of a green... thing.
