Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Opposites don't just attract - they hilariously banter fuss feud and collide when SANDRA BULLOCK plays an activist lawyer and HUGH GRANT is the eccentric tycoon who hires her in this romantic-comedy romp from the writer of Miss CongenialityRunning Time: 102 min.Format: DVD MOVIE Genre: COMEDY UPC: 085392341825 Manufacturer No: 23418

Amazon.com:
You'd expect a cavalcade of cuteness from any pairing of Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant, but Two Weeks Notice admirably avoids the obvious. You get plenty of Bullock's pratfalls and feisty sex appeal, and Grant's snappy comebacks are never in short supply, but first-time writer-director Marc Lawrence (who wrote Bullock's previous hit, Miss Congeniality) adds just enough antagonism to keep this romantic comedy from being a completely foregone conclusion. Neurotic lawyer, environmentalist, and landmark-preservation activist Lucy Kelson (Bullock) is determined to thwart the efforts of billionaire developer and jet-setting playboy George Wade (Grant); of course, fate brings them together and then rips them apart, just as they're beginning to feel the panicky pangs of love. A replacement attorney (Alicia Witt) defies formula by being genuinely sweet, and Lawrence steers clear of the most familiar clichés. It's formulaic anyway, but in Two Weeks Notice it's a comforting formula, delivered by stars who thrive within their limitations. --Jeff Shannon

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Two Week Notice-Opposites collide
Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock are great together. Hugh plays a rich guy who considers only the important things, like which tie to wear. Sandra plays an activist who cares about the important things like saving the community center. Thrust together by Hugh's need for a lawyer, and Sandra's being one, her superior talent and ability dovetail perfectly with his need for someone stable and organized. Working together, they find each other indispensible, except for the fact that Hugh is utterly unconcerned ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pretty Good
Light and fun, airy and pleasant. Would be a good date movie, but I watched it alone and enjoyed it. Didn't think I would when I pulled it out of the bargain bin, but both actors work pretty well off each other and there was surely a chemistry between them (a good hybrid between friendliness and romance). You'll chuckle some. I'm embarrassed to say it, but this is a well enough made movie and entertaining in an easy way.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - On notice - You will be entertained
I bought this Film for the Sandra Bullock appeal.Any other addition is a plus. The relationship with Hugh Grant works because of Sandra's Charisma. It helps that the supporting actors are top notch. And The work with the
Director/writer in Ms Congeniality is spoken of in negative terms here in reviews, well, I loved Ms Congeniality, so that connection was and is a plus for me. I enjoyed the film from start to finish, and the commentary shows where Hugh did some "ad lib" work, and it is quite fun.The ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - `Two Weeks' takes two great actors and creates one great movie...
Take an actor that's good at playing the self centered womanizer; take an actress who's good at playing the lonely tomboy; give them a script that utilizes their strengths and pairs it with witty and fresh dialog and what do you have? I'll tell you what you have; you have one extremely funny, and rewarding, cinematic experience. `Two Weeks Notice' does just that. It pairs the very `British' Hugh Grant with everyone's favorite `train wreck' Sandra Bullock and it allows the two of them to play off one another ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Another fun and cute Hugh Grant movie!
I pretty much own all of Hugh Grant's movies, so this is just another one in my collection, however it is a very cute romantic movie with Hugh providing his typical subtle little one-liners. Sandra Bullock is another of my favorite actresses and the two of them have a wonderful chemistry together. It's just a really great film and it's one that you want to just watch over and over.
