- Picky Picky...
I haven't seen this version yet, but if it's the exact same as when it was originally released as "Deadlock" (only available on VHS as far as I know), then it's a great early 90's movie. Rutger Hauer has a certain 'style' of acting that you either love or hate, but if you like him, you'll like this movie. Sure, his inevitable hook-up with Mimi's character is formulaic, but overall it's an interesting watch.

- Exploding Prison Collars
Some may remember this film for the sceen that depicts a uni-sex prison of the future in which each prisoner has an electronic collar placed around his or her neck. Each collar is paired with another at random. If an inmate gets 100 feet from the unknow prisoner wearing the matching collar it puts out a shock... if the inmate goes a little further it blows up both collars, killing both inmates. - No prison can hold Rutger
Modern prison of the future... Prison with no fences and yet no one escaped from there. In this prison convicts are guards to each others, and lethal collars are preventing them to run away. Add Rutger Hauer as main star and we have a big shot! A lot of action, fun and Rutger's cold humor. Plus, he has lovely Mimi Rogers as wedlock partner and what more do you need?! This is TV movie but it is very good, a lot better than many new films that we can see in theaters these days.

Interesting action scenes, a lot of fun and Rutger's cold humor. This is TV movie, but it's a lot better than many I've seen in theaters lately. It surely deserves *****.

This is a fun movie. Caught it on HBO. If you like breaking out of prison movies with some twist and turns; this one does it for you. Joan Chen as the two timing bitch girlfriend is fun to watch.
